Find a new
way forward.

Project Re-Wire is built around connection, practical support and progress at a pace that works for the person.

About Project Re-Wire

Start with the person.

P.R.W. is a developing support program for people who want to build confidence, strengthen everyday skills and move toward goals that matter to them. The first step is a conversation about the person, their interests and what useful support could look like.

Connection

Build trust and work together around each person's strengths and interests.

Practical progress

Break larger goals into manageable steps that can be practised in everyday life.

Individual direction

Keep the person's choices, comfort and pace at the centre of the work.

What we can work on

Practical support.
Real-world skills.

Practical Life Skills

Hands-on support to develop useful everyday skills, routines, problem-solving and greater independence.

Community Participation

Support to get out into the community, pursue interests, build confidence and participate in meaningful activities.

Outdoor Skills & Experiences

Practical outdoor experiences that can incorporate camping skills, bushcraft, navigation, preparation, teamwork and responsible outdoor participation where appropriate.

Practical Projects

Learn through real tasks and projects. The focus is on working alongside the participant and developing capability rather than simply doing the task for them.

Individualised Support

One-to-one support shaped around the person's goals, interests, strengths and circumstances.

Building Independence

Opportunities to practise planning, decision-making, persistence, responsibility and practical self-reliance.

The Project Re-Wire approach

Learn by
doing.

Project Re-Wire is built around a simple idea: some of the most useful skills are developed through real experience. Whether we're working on an everyday task, getting outdoors, tackling a practical project or participating in the community, the activity becomes an opportunity to build confidence, capability and independence.

Referrals

For participants, families
& Support Coordinators

Every person is different. Before support begins, we'll have a conversation about the participant's goals, interests, support needs and what they want to work toward. This helps determine whether Project Re-Wire is the right fit and how support can be structured around the individual.

How it begins

A conversation first.
A plan together.

An introductory conversation helps us decide together whether the approach is a fit.

01

Get in touch

Participant, family member, carer or Support Coordinator makes contact.

02

Talk it through

Discuss goals, interests, support needs, preferences and practical considerations.

03

Build the approach

Agree on suitable supports, activities, times, boundaries and goals.

04

Get practical

Start working toward those goals through meaningful real-world support and experiences.

NDIS Support

Project Re-Wire can work with NDIS participants where the support is appropriate to the participant's goals, plan and available funding. Suitability and funding arrangements are discussed before services commence.

Connect

conversation.
